Visconti Comedia
The well-known pen company Visconti is pleased to present Comedia, a collection of pens dedicated to the great Dante Alighieri.
Visconti Comedìa is yet another act of Visconti’s love for the city of Florence, cradle of the Italian Renaissance and embodiment of the craftsmanship that defines our creations.
Meticulous attention to detail and a love of art and human culture are values that Visconti has always been committed to, embodying them in the development of this collection.
Dante Alighieri (Italian: May 1265 – September 14, 1321), most likely baptized Durante di Alighiero degli Alighieri and often referred to as Dantewas an Italian[a] poet, writer, and philosopher.
His Divine Comedy, originally called Comedìa (modern Italian: Commedia) and later christened Divina by Giovanni Boccaccio,is widely considered one of the most important poems of the Middle Ages and the greatest literary work in the Italian language.
Visconti carefully selected resins and trims to make each of these pens best express the imagery of the cantica to which it is dedicated: Inferno, Purgatorio and Paradiso.
The Visconti Comedia consists in a ballpoint Pen, Roller and Fountain Pen.
The Comedìa fountain pen mounts a large (#6) steel nib, combining writing performance and aesthetic pleasantness.
Filling system: converter.
The plating of the nib, like that of the other trims, follows a precise color scheme to best represent the cantica from which the pen is inspired: ruthenium for Inferno, palladium for Purgatorio, and yellow gold for Paradiso.
