Crafted from fine bronze, the Visconti Checkmate pen is engraved with “Visconti” and “Checkmate,” markers that not only celebrate the brand but also distinguish the body from the cap, making it easy and intuitive to open. Its faceted body and cap feature a meticulously enameled checkerboard in contrasting hues, with each of the 64 squares perfectly detailed.
Letters from A to H are engraved along its sides, recreating a traditional chessboard look, while a small marker aligned with the nib denotes “A,” indicating both the starting point of the chessboard and providing a reference for a swift opening.
