Pilot Custom 823 Demonstrator
The Pilot Custom 823 has one unique feature, the Vacuum filler system.
Available in 2 "Clear" colors: Demonstrator, Brown and Dark Grey.
The pump, show above at half stroke creates a vacuum on the down-stroke which ends when the piston passes a widening of the barrel near the section. The ink is then drawn up into that vacuum.
Further, you can lock the ink supply simply by keeping the returned plunger tight. To write you need to twist the end about 2mm to open the ink flow.
The Pilot Custom 823 is available with a solid 14K gold in Fine, Medium and Broad.
This pen is also available with Pilot S (Signature) nib.
About the Pilot Signature nib:
Lettering with very bold downstrokes and Medium side strokes.
Which extra thick vertical lines and Medium horizontal lines, this "S" nib creates smooth curved lines, and the different writing widths produce letters with inflections.
Suitable for writing signatures.
