OMAS Bologna

Omas was founded in 1925 by Armando Simoni in Bologna, Italy. The name is an Italian acronym ( ‘’Officina Meccanica Armando Simoni’’), which for nearly a century has represented quality in design, materials, and performance along with incredibly beautiful colors and patterns.

We are excited to announce the reintroduction of the iconic Omas Bologna collection.
Designed to be a shining example of our commitment to honoring the past while looking forward to the future.
The Bologna has been created in four striking colors of Diamoncast resin: Azzurro Diamante (Diamond Blue), Smeraldo Elegante (Elegant Emerald), Grigio Luminoso (Bright Gray) and Ametista Profondo (Deep Amethyst).
DiamondCast® is a patent pending material made with Alumilite and a combination of real diamond and various pigments.
The colors are created to mimic the original Omas celluloid created in 1930s.

The slim and elegant Bologna has been updated from the pre-war design of the 1930s with a modern piston filling system as opposed to the original lever fill system, but otherwise has an almost identical silhouette.
The cap ring features the Porticoes of Bologna design to symbolize Omas brand originated in the city of Bologna Italy.
The OMAS Bologna is equipped with #6 14 karat gold nibs available in EF,F,M and B.
