Wood is chosen to pay tribute to when Mr. Fogg saves Princess Aouda from being forced to commit suttee.
The main characters travel in this part of the adventure on a majestic elephant, which is featured in a cartouche on the cap.
The cap and the barrel feature an engraved patternthat symbolizes good luck.
The clip features a red lacquered diamond card suit and the cone is etched with a pattern inspired by Princess Aouda's jewelry and the card suits.
The cap top is embossed with the length of the journey, 25 days from Bombay to Yokohama and 80 days in total.
