Manufactured in a limited run of only 43 fountain pens, the “Momento Zero GRANDE Flame” is the result of a close partnership between Leonardo Officina Italiana and Casa della Stilografica.
At the beginning of the 1900’s, the Comune di Firenze decided to devise a method to distinguish street numbers corresponding to business entrances from those belonging to private homes.
The first were allotted a red street number followed by an “r” after the number itself as an abbreviation of “rosso” “red”.
Private home street numbers were simply allotted black numbers, without any letter following the number.

Casa della Stilografica has always been in Florence at number 43/r in Via Cavour, so the pen is limited to only 43 pieces.

The Leonardo Momento Zero GRANDE Flame is available with steel nib size: EF, F, M, B, Stub 1,5 mm and Stub 1.1 mm or with gold nib 14kt size: EF, F, M, B, and Stub 1,3mm.

The Flame is also orderable with the Leonardo Music nib!!!
Music nib - The only nib in the world with 3 tines and 2 oblique slits.
The nib is only available in Broad edge (when the tines remain closed), but with open tines and when completely flexed it can reach a BBBroad (triple broad) stroke.

The ebonite red feeder is produced by Leonardo workshops
The piston (1.2ml capacity!) it is a giant converter not removable.
The  Leonardo Momento Zero Grande Flame comes in a new box that  included 1 Leonardo ink bottle.
The clip is thinner than the regular Momento Zero and refers to the clips of Italian pen companies of the 1930s, the same of the final part of the cap.
