The Kaweco DIY Sport offers a unique hands-on experience for fountain pen enthusiasts, allowing you to assemble your own Kaweco Sport pen using the same tools and techniques employed in Kaweco's Nuremberg factory.​

What Is the Kaweco DIY Sport?

The DIY Sport is a limited-edition, in-store-only initiative designed to support brick-and-mortar retailers and provide customers with an immersive, personalized experience. Each year, Kaweco releases a new color:

• 2025: Emerald Eve​

Slip into our shoes with the Kaweco DIY Sport and build your own personalized fountain pen.
The fountain pen is available exclusively in stationary retail stores as a DIY product and cannot be purchased online

These pens are not available for online purchase; they must be assembled in person at participating retailers.

Participants receive a kit containing seven components—the same parts used in Kaweco's factory.
Using specialized press machines, you attach the nib unit, cap liner, and medallion, ensuring proper alignment and a secure fit.
This process offers a satisfying, hands-on insight into the craftsmanship behind Kaweco pens.

After assembly, you'll receive:​

• Your custom-assembled Kaweco DIY Sport pen

• A Kaweco ink cartridge

• Packaging materials (box, stickers, and paperwork)

This experience not only results in a unique writing instrument but also provides a deeper appreciation for the pen-making process!
